A: Parents assign star values (1-30 stars) to chores based on difficulty. When a child completes a chore and it's approved, those stars are added to their balance. Kids can then spend stars in the reward shop you create.

A: Parents can require children to submit a photo when marking a chore complete. You review the photo before approving, ensuring accountability and preventing false completions.

A: Yes! Everything is customizable. Create chores specific to your household (make bed, walk dog, homework) and rewards your kids actually want (screen time, treats, outings).

A: You can set chores to repeat daily, weekly, or on custom days (e.g., every Monday and Thursday). The calendar view shows all upcoming assignments, and you can skip or reassign individual dates if needed.

A: Notifications keep everyone informed: Parents get alerts when kids submit chores, kids get alerts when chores are approved or rejected, automated reminders for pending chores, and reward claim notifications.

A: Absolutely. ChoreChamp uses Firebase's secure backend with industry-standard encryption. All sensitive data is stored securely, and we never share your information with third parties.

A: Children can view their chores, submit tasks, and browse the reward shop. However, all star earnings and reward claims require parent approval, giving you full control.

A: If you delete the app, all your family data will be permanently deleted. We do not retain any information after app deletion.

A: When a child is removed from your family, all their data (chore history, star balance, submissions) is permanently deleted. We do not retain this information.

A: Ensure push notifications are enabled in your device settings for ChoreChamp. Also check that you're logged in and have an active internet connection.

A: Double-check that you've entered the 6-character code exactly as displayed (case-sensitive). If issues persist, you can regenerate a new code in the Family Setup screen.

A: Go to "Chore Setup" from the dashboard, tap the chore you want to modify, make your changes, and save. To delete, tap the delete icon (available for chores without active assignments).

A: Yes! There's a "Restore Purchases" button on the paywall screen. This will reactivate your subscription if you've reinstalled the app or switched devices.
